Amberg

In 1564, mayor Michael Schwaiger wrote in his chronicle about Amberg: ‘Munich is the most beautiful princely city and Leipzig the richest, but Amberg is the most secure’. What the three cities have in common, however, is our best, best pizza, pasta d’amore and heavenly dolci such as our original Italian tiramisu. L’Osteria Amberg is located at Franziskanergasse 5, not far from the English Garden and state theatre, right by the river Vils. In our cosy dining area and on our sunny terrace set amongst olive trees, there is not only a prevailing sense of well-being but also of original Italian flair mixed with wonderful aromas from our open kitchen. L’Osteria Amberg is therefore the ideal place to spend some time. Nevertheless, if you would prefer to order some food to take away, this is also possible. All our meals are available to take away, from XXL pizzas to children’s portions. Non c’è problema. By the way: we also have a dog bar for all our four-legged guests.
